Kapadokya Mediterranean Grill - Authentic Turkish Cuisine in Monmouth Junction, NJ

Fresh Mediterranean food. The food tasted simple and fresh. It is a fair portion for the price. The menu is a bit pricey but all Mediterranean restaurants are like that. The gyro was very good and flavorful and chicken here is delicious. The salad and vegetables are fresh and the tables come w sparkling water. The falafel was delicious!

We decided to give this place a try after seeing some pics on IG. I'm so glad we did. The atmosphere was casual and I loved the decor . Staff were nice and helpful. Everything we ordered was delicious and decent size portions for certain items . We started off with Sheppard salad and cold mixed plate ( had hummus, baba ghanush, egg plant salad and few other items ) My husband had ordered Lahmacun which was delicious they were little flat pizza that were covered with meat and served with salad to put in middle and roll them. Very delicious! I ordered the grilled mixed plate which had gyro, grilled chicken kebab and lamb kebab rice and salad . My daughter ordered the Manti ( Turkish mini dumplings) I will admit this dish fell short in the flavor department but was tasty . My daughter's friend and ordered the gyro platter which was a hearty size portion. We were unfortunately too full to grab dessert but i definitely intend to come back to try some of those other delicious dishes. So I would definitely consider driving out of the way to give this place a try .

We were recommended the Lahmacun by our server Kayhan. It was great as was he. We enjoyed marinated lamb skewers as well and finished our meal with Tres Leches which also came recommended from another waitstaff who said she enjoyed it several times times a week. It was also delicious. Kayhan also showed us the upstairs room which is amazing. After climbing a stair that felt like you were in a rock cave(very cool). The upstairs room is full of amazing lighters and would be a great place for a party. This place is really cool

My wife and I love exploring different cuisines to truly experience the heart of each culture. Kapadokya Mediterranean Grill absolutely deserves a spot on your bucket list if you’re craving authentic Turkish food. When you go, ask for Kayhan—he made our visit unforgettable. He took his time walking us through the signature dishes so we could really appreciate the quality and authenticity of the cuisine. With so many great options, we chose the dishes you see in these photos. As we say in my language, “Questo cibo è fantastico!” (This food is fantastic!)

BBBBBBBBANGIN! Loved all of it. While it is not like your typical gyro or Greek salad it is fresh and different. The sampler cold was a great start and the menu I bet you can't go wrong. We did keep it simple though.

Been twice already, great food, lots of variety. Service could be better on both visits. Loved the liver and sausage appetizer, lahmacun, and dumplings. Definitely check out their store next door.

Visited Kapadokya Mediterranean Grill yesterday and was absolutely delighted. The food is fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The authentic interior adds a special touch. Service is top-notch — the staff is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a true Turkish-Mediterranean vibe. Highly recommend for family dinners and gatherings with friends!

I can simply say WOW. Excellent food and ambient. Very well decorated. Service was a bit slow but the food tastes excellent. One of the best Turkish restaurants I've ever seen.
